Saara is an extraordinary Cub Scout from 10th Fulwood Scout Group.
During the lockdowns in 2020, she put her baking skills to good use and set up an Instagram page (@saaras.snack.shack) to sell her treats to friends and family! This page eventually blew up and she has now raised more than £2,500 for a range of causes!
Some of the causes she has donated towards include Rosemere Cancer Foundation; Save the Children Yemen; Lebanon Port Relief; Noor Food Bank; Bake4Syria, Jamea Academy & Gaza Relief Fund.
Having spent 80+ hours on Saara’s Snack Shack, Identifying a need, planning orders and baking (including lots of finger licking!) Saara is well on the way to earning her Stage 4 Community Impact Staged Activity Badge.
