Fundraising Activity
If there are any Scouts or groups of Scouts that would like to run a fundraising activity for any international trips they have coming up, the District Camp Team would like you to get in touch!

A weekend of fun, adventure, challenge and friendship. District Camp is back in 2023 at Waddecar.
After a tough and challenging few years for us all we are delighted that Preston District Camp is back for 2023! This year the theme of the camp is ‘St Georges Day’ and all sections in groups are invited to come and join us to a weekend of fun and adventure. We will of course, also mark the occasion of St. George’s Day during the weekend celebrations.

Where? Waddecar Scout Activity Centre, Snape Rake Lane, Preston, PR3 2EU
Who? All sections and every group within Preston District
Catering
Groups will need to cater for themselves for the full weekend apart from Saturday evening when the meal will be provided by the event
How Much Will It Cost?
Participants – £40
Leaders – £5
Squirrels (Sunday Only) – £5
Note – Beavers must book for two nights with no day trip option available

Nights Away Notification
Each group attending must submit a Nights Away Notification (NAN) form which are available here.
This is a logistically challenging event, please support the organising team by ensuring deadlines are met. Places will only be confirmed when a deposit is paid.
We hope you will support this event, as we aim to have the biggest and best District Camp! It’s going to be brilliant, and we’d love for you to join us.
