After over five years, Warren Frost will complete his term as District Commissioner for Preston at the end of this year.

Warren has led Preston with passion, enthusiasm and enormous dedication, giving everything to the role. When Warren agreed to be District Commissioner, no-one imagined that he would need to steer the District through the incredibly challenging pandemic period. The District has recovered exceptionally well and is now in a strong position to move through a period of transformation. There will be other opportunities to thank Warren, but I want to place on record my sincere gratitude for his incredible service as District Commissioner. Thank you Warren.

As one chapter comes to an end, another one begins. With that, I have asked Ed Bettess, District Chair, to form a small search group to advise me on my appointment of Preston’s next Lead Volunteer (currently called a District Commissioner).

As you will know, we are about to go through an exciting period of transformation and will be re-organising some of our teams and roles as a result – to enable a more teams-based approach and to reduce the workload for individual volunteers. The Lead Volunteer will lead the District Leadership Team and lead the District through that period of change.
