1st Cottam Cubs and Beavers have raised enough money through a sponsored silence, held in lockdown on zoom, to sponsor 2 support dogs!!
One is Dave (pictured) who they were lucky to meet on a zoom meeting, the other is a puppy in training. They even saw Dave putting clothes in the washing machine and picking up items his owner had dropped! The dogs support people with disabilities or autism.
The group now hope to raise more money for Support Dogs by collecting used stamps in the Cottam community. If anybody would like to donate any used stamps please contact karen.campbell@westlancsscouts.org.uk or pass them to any leader from 1st Cottam.
