Recently, some of our network members (Holly Jempson, Nicholas Edwards and Lily Walker-Frost) were presented with their World Organization of the Scout Movement – WOSM Scouts Of The World Award!
This was in recognition for the projects they completed whilst out in Africa with West Lancs Scouts Africa 2022 and West Lancs Scouts !
Holly’s project was Centre Upgrades, which included painting and refurbishing a deprived centre, while Nicholas’ was to build rocket stoves at the High School and Nursery and finally, Lily was tasked with starting a Scout Group in Malawi.
