SUMMARY:20th Birthday Blowout Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Bibbys Farm is 20 Years Old! – Come and join us for our birthday celebrations \nBased upon our popular format\, our Blowout weekend for 2025 takes place on the weekend of the 23rd-26th May\nAs usual\, you can book just the bits you want to build your own bespoke weekend OR you can save a few pounds and book the Full Package which includes 3 nights camping and a full programme of activities running from Friday night until Monday morning. \nEach day looks like this: \nFriday 23rd May – BBQ and Movie Night \nAimed at groups who are camping\, we provide a BBQ evening meal for all followed by an evening film show as it goes dark with a goody bag of popcorn\, a drink and a voucher to claim an ice-cream or lolly at the interval. BBQ will start approx 7pm to allow people time to arrive.\n(Please note\, leaders wanting the BBQ will need to book a place for this as well as young people) \nSaturday 24th May – Bibbys Grand Trading Post \nThis is a full day programme of challenges and bases for groups to work through throughout the day to earn “Bibbys Dollars”. Every group starts off with a set of dollars per person  and works away to undertake the challenges. Some require dollars to purchase materials or equipment and you receive further dollars for task completed correctly. \nOne of the ways to earn money will be by performing during our evening “Talent Show” either as a group or an individual. Dollars awarded based upon audience feedback. \nAt the end of the day\, prizes will be awarded to those who have earned the most dollars per person. \nSunday 25th May – Blowout 2025 \nOur traditional Blowout event with all our usual activities all day plus many more brought in specially for the day. A wristband also allows access to our evening LIVE entertainment in the courtyard that runs until around 10:30pm. We ask adults who are not undertaking activities to purchase an evening only wristband to allow access to the evening entertainment. \nMonday 26th May – Water Activity Bolt-On \nAs it is just too busy to run the water activities during the Blowout\, we offer groups the option of adding this to their programme for the Sunday.\nYou’ll be allocated one of 3 time slots for 2 hours on the water 9am-11am\, Noon-2pm and 2:30pm-4:30pm \nLeaders – For adults coming to support their young people\, you don’t need to book the full package unless you are wanting to do all the activities.\nHowever\, for leaders\, we would charge camp fees (Apart for those in ratio who camp for free)\, the BBQ and Cinema (£5) if they want to eat and the (£5) Blowout evening ticket to access all the entertainment.

SUMMARY:Bibby's Music Fest 2023
DESCRIPTION:Fancy a festival but put off by the hundreds of pounds price tag? \nFollowing the hugely successful event in 2022\, we’re repeating the experience for all Scouts\, Explorers and Network and also Guides and Rangers. \nStarting at Noon on the Saturday\, our large outdoor stage rig will host multiple bands and acts throughout the day and our festival arena will be surrounded with tents providing bases such as face painting\, henna tattoos\, hair braiding and so on. \nCatering will be available and your VIP Pass will include your evening meal. \nThe day finishes with our headline act and a massive paint party. \nThis really is one event you don’t want to miss. \nInvolved with a band? Why not get in touch to come and perform? \nNew for 2023\nDue to the popularity of the event last year\, we have now added a day visit option for ALL ages\, (Beavers\, Cubs etc) to come for just the day.\nParticipants will receive a wristband that allows them into the arena from Noon up until evening meal time. That way they’ll get all the bands in the afternoon and access to the festival bases such as face painting etc but won’t be included in the evening\, paint party or camping.\nDay visit wristbands can also choose to stay for the evening meal if they choose at an additional fee.

SUMMARY:Bibby's Farm - D of E Gold Residential
DESCRIPTION:Bibbys Farm has many volunteers and they have run the site since it first opened.\nAs a part of this\, we can now offer a formalised way of volunteering as a part of your D-of-E Gold Residential. \nYou will join us for the week of the 10th July 2023 to at least the 15th July. This is a Monday to Saturday.\nAlong with others\, you will stay in our Bunkhouse and all your food and drink is included. Living with the rest of the team is all a part of the experience and it will include playing your part in cooking and cleaning as well as project work each day. \nOn the final Saturday\, we are also hosting our annual Music Festival. In return for your hard work\, we’ll provide you with a free Backstage Pass to join the Festival as one of our Crew helping with the run-up to the event and the event itself. Staying until the end of the Saturday will count for your residential but we’ll also provide continued accommodation for those who wish to party until late and stay over until the Sunday. \nHere’s the detail from D-of-E about residentials: \nFor your Residential section you need to undertake a shared activity or specific course with people you don’t know\, in a residential setting away from home and in an unfamiliar environment. Evenings are often as much a part of the experience as daytime activities. \nThis section offers a high degree of flexibility but it must be done with an organised group\, registered charity or Approved Activity Provider. You must join it individually and not with an existing group of friends or as part of a school or youth group trip. You will be staying away – anything from an activity centre or camp to a boat or barge – but you cannot stay with friends or relatives. \nThere are no age restrictions on who you can do your residential activity with\, for example\, a conservation project has volunteers of all ages on it – you may even be the only person under 25 or doing your DofE. \nYour activity can be anything that provides you with an opportunity for broadening your interests and experiences. It is ideal for trying something new or it can be related to existing interests or activities followed in other sections of your DofE programme.
