Download/Upload Files From Group Storage Areas Within 365

** WE RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS IN AN INCOGNITO WINDOW ON GOOGLE CHROME OR IF NOT COMPLETLEY LOGOUT OF THE OLD TENANT BEFORE LOGGING INTO THE NEW ONE, OTHERWISE THIS COULD CAUSE ISSUES**

**PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR EVERY GROUP, OTHERWISE CONTENT WILL BE LOST, THIS ONLY NEEDS TO BE DONE BY ONE PERSON IN THE GROUP, NOT EVERYONE**

Login to the old system via outlook.com/westlancsscouts.org.uk. using your username followed by prestonscouts.westlancsscouts.org.uk instead of prestonscouts.org.uk.

Password is the same as previous

Once logged in, click on the people icon in the left hand column

Click on ‘Groups’ in the list of options on the left hand side

    Click on ‘Member’. This should display groups that you are a member of

    A list of groups you are a member of should then appear

    Click on one of them

    Then click ‘Site’ under Apps at the bottom

    Then click ‘Documents’ in the left hand column

    This will then bring up all the files stored in that group

    Select multiple folders/files and click download in the top bar. This will start the download of all files you have selected

    To upload the files into the new tennant, please wait for confirmation that everything is working before trying to access. When confirmation is given, login via outlook.com/prestonscouts.org.uk and follow the above instructions again, but when you reach the document stage, instead of downloading, please click ‘Upload’ and the files or folders.
