SUMMARY:Bibby's Blowout Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Following the huge success of our 2022 Royal Extravaganza and a lot of groups asking “When are you running it in 2023?” we have put together the following event over the first May Bank Holiday weekend.\nAs in 2022\, you can book individual parts or save a few pounds and book for the full package.\nEach day looks like this: \nFriday 28th April – BBQ and Movie Night \nAimed at groups who are camping\, we provide a BBQ evening meal for all followed by an evening film show as it goes dark with a goody bag of popcorn\, a drink and a voucher to claim an ice-cream or lolly at the interval.\n(Please note\, leaders wanting the BBQ will need to book a place for this as well as young people) \nSaturday 29th April – Bibbys Grand Trading Post \nThis is a full day programme of challenges and bases for groups to work through throughout the day to earn “Bibbys Dollars”. Every group starts off with a set of dollars per person  and works away to undertake the challenges. Some require dollars to purchase materials or equipment and you receive further dollars for task completed correctly. \nOne of the ways to earn money will be by performing during our evening “Royal Variety Show” either as a group or an individual. Dollars awarded based upon audience feedback. \nAt the end of the day\, there will be an auction where groups can pool their dollars to bid for various prizes \nSunday 30th April – Blowout 2022 \nOur usual Blowout event with all our usual activities all day plus many more brought in specially for the day. A wristband also allows access to our evening LIVE entertainment in the courtyard that runs until around 10pm. We ask adults who are not undertaking activities to purchase an evening only wristband to allow access to the evening entertainment.\nWe also provide an evening meal option to groups who would like to pre-book this. \nMonday 1st May – Water Activity Bolt-On – Sorry\, Sold out \nAs it is just too busy to run the water activities during the Blowout\, we offer groups the option of adding this to their programme for the Sunday.\nYou’ll be allocated one of 3 time slots for 2 hours on the water 9am-11am\, Noon-2pm and 2:30pm-4:30pm \nLeaders – For adults coming to support their young people\, you don’t need to book the full package unless you are wanting to do all the activities.\nHowever\, for leaders\, we would charge camp fees (Apart for those in ratio who camp for free)\, the BBQ and Cinema (£5) if they want to eat and the (£5) Blowout evening ticket to access all the entertainment.

SUMMARY:Bibby's Farm - Northern Comfort
DESCRIPTION:Following last year’s fantastic event\, we’re putting on our Northern Comfort 2022 with a very similar format. \nThe event is “Adults Only” and the only booking for that weekend so you can relax\, away from the kids and enjoy the activities and entertainment with other like-minded adults. \nDuring the day\, with your help\, we are looking to put on loads of different bases and training & assessment opportunities where adult leaders can try out new things and cover some learning modules either formal ones or informal training along the likes of Scouting Skills\, workshops on running games\, different styles of flagbreaks and much more. We will also be running taster sessions on all our activities and we are seeking suppliers to attend to showcase their wares too. \nIn the evenings\, the Courtyard becomes the entertainment hub\, we will have a licensed real ale bar and a stage with live entertainment on both nights included in the event package. \nCome and camp or you can even upgrade and have a bed indoors for a slightly higher price.\nWe are offering a pre-booked meal service at reasonable prices where you can book breakfasts\, lunches and evening meal. \nThe whole ethos of the weekend is for Scouters & Guiders from all over the region to come together for a fun weekend away from their Beavers\, Cubs & Scouts for a change. To try out some new activities\, learn some new skills\, swap ideas with fellow leaders and have a darn good time whilst doing so. \nThis is YOUR weekend for you to enjoy\, make sure you get your best Scouting friends to come along too.

DESCRIPTION:The MAC is Back!\n16th – 18th September 2022 \nThe Mountain Adventure Challenge (MAC) is back for 2022. The walking and camping event is open to primarily for Explorer Scouts and Network members as well as Adult Leaders (for training opportunities). \nThere are 3 levels for the event and they are:\n \n• Green\nTailor made to suit the needs of the participant as agreed with the organisers.\nRoute and Campsite will be based on the Blue and Yellow options. This could include\nindividuals or twos or threes who are prepared to walk with others. The walk could be\ntaken as an independent team or with a leader. Further options could include Day 1 or Day\n2 only with or without an overnight camp. For the full weekend the cost will be same as\noptions below\, but would be reduced if not camping. \n•Blue\nA two day two night expedition\, navigating through stunning parts of the Lake\nDistrict. Walking with a day rucksack and your camping equipment transported to the\novernight campsite. Teams of 4 to 7. This option does not meet the requirement of the\nPlatinum Expedition but could be used as Training. Cost £20\, plus your own food and\ntransport to and from the event. \n•Yellow\nA two day two night expedition\, navigating through stunning parts of the Lake\nDistrict. Walking carrying your own kit. Teams of 4 to 7. This option meets the requirement\nof the Platinum Expedition . This can be undertaken as a challenge or as part of the\ncompetition. SUMMARY:Bibby's Farm - Music Festival
DESCRIPTION:Fancy a festival but put off by the hundreds of pounds price tag? \nWe’re recreating the experience for all Scouts\, Explorers and Network and also Guides and Rangers. \nStarting at 11am on the Saturday\, our large outdoor stage rig will host multiple bands and acts throughout the day and our festival arena will be surrounded with tents providing bases such as tye-dying tee shirts\, henna tattoos\, hair braiding and so on. \nFood Truck Bases will also provide snacks\, food and drink and your Front Stage Pass will include your evening meal. \nThe day finishes with our headline act and a massive paint party. \nThis really is one event you don’t want to miss. \nInvolved with a band?
